Dear Parents/Carers
Thank you to all of you who have returned your Data Collection sheets. There are just a small number outstanding ? please could those be returned by Monday.
Following on from last week?s reminder about the new car seat legislations, copies of the official guidance from RoSPA are attached, which we hope will help clarify matters.
Swimming
There is a payment slip attached to today?s letter for the children in Years 4 to 6. It would be appreciated if these could be returned no later than Thursday 28th September. Thank you.
Tag Rugby and S.A.S.P. Clubs
I am pleased to say that there has been sufficient interest in these to continue with both clubs and with present numbers, the cost will be £2 per session (numbers and cost will be reviewed on a half-termly basis). If your child is taking part in one, or both of these clubs, please complete and return the attached slip with your payment, also by Thursday 28th September.

Tuesday 26th September Kingsmead Open Evening for Year 6 parents
Thursday 28th September Class 2 trip to Bristol
Friday 20th October Harvest Festival at Greenham Church 2pm
Break up for half term
Thursday 2nd November Return to school
Please also refer to the separate letter giving dates for all the scheduled sports fixtures for this term (for the children in Class 2 only).
For those of you who like to plan ahead, there is also a copy of the academic calendar for 2007/08, including our proposed INSET days for that year. You will note that the children return to school on Tuesday 4th September 2007 and their last day in school is Friday 18th 2008.
