Dear Parents/Carers
There is quite a lot happening next week, so I will list events day by day:-
Monday·
-Some of our Year 5 children are taking part in an Athletics Festival at Castle School athletics track, from 3.50-5.50pm. Mr Stirzaker will be transporting them there but please could you arrange to collect your child afterwards.
Tuesday
· A free cooked lunch will be provided for the Year 6 children at their Induction Day at Kingsmead, so a packed lunch will not be required that day. A drink is probably still a good idea though.
· Kwik Cricket Club will not be held on due to the Years 2, 3, 4 and 5 Rounders tournament at Courtfields, from 3.50-5pm. Help will be need with transport, so please let me know if you are available.
Wednesday
· There will be no Rounders Club due to the Kwik Cricket tournament at Gypsy Lane, Taunton, from 3.50-5.50pm. Once again, transport is needed, so please see me if you can help.
Thursday
· S.A.S.P. Club will run as normal
· Year 6 Parents Evening at Kinsgmead (correction to date given last week).
Friday
· Years 3 and 4 will be taking part in the annual Swimming Festival at Wellington Sports Centre. I?m afraid to say that we have been told no spectators are allowed this year.
· As it is the Sponsored Walk in the afternoon, children do not need to wear school uniform that day and please make sure they have sensible footwear to change into for the walk. Sunhats, cream, etc also a good idea if it is sunny.
· There is a Football Tournament at Blagdon Hill School, from 4-6pm. Once again, volunteers to help with transport would be appreciated. Many thanks.
Reminders/Other Matters
· Tickets are still available for the Barn Dance on Saturday. Please let us know tomorrow if you still need to get some. See you there!
· If anyone requires new school uniform items ready for September, please return the order form sent with last week?s letter, together with your cheque, by next Thursday. Thank you.
· Please could all Swimming and S.A.S.P. Club payments be sent in by next Thursday.
